Samuel Farance

Director and Cinematographer

Samuel is an active experimental documentary filmmaker whose focus is on the rural South, Americana, and automotive. Originally from Rutherfordton, North Carolina, Samuel graduated from UNC-Wilmington’s film program in the spring of 2021. He also holds an Associate of Applied Science in Film and Video Production Technology from Blue Ridge Community College. While in Wilmington, he served as an Assistant Managing Director and Programming Director of the Visions 10 Film Festival & Conference.
